Yesterday was the State vs. South Alabama game. It was cold and rainy, and felt not at all like September in North Carolina, but we still had a great time! I managed to take approximately one picture--with all the rain and gray drizzle, I just never felt like getting the camera out, but I did use my phone to take one during the game:
This week my cooking experiment was cake balls--I've seen other people post about them, but had yet to try them, so I gave them a shot. They were pretty easy to make, and turned out well. I want to try out some different flavor combinations--I think there are some potential dessert staples out there.
I've discovered that home football games tend to take up the whole weekend--Friday night is grocery shopping, cooking, and getting everything ready. Saturday is finishing up the cooking, loading the truck, picking up our friends, and getting to the game as early as possible--and staying as late as possible. And then Sunday is unpacking, putting things away, doing the dishes, and getting everything back in order! Lots of work, but totally worth it for all the fun we have!
